Job summary

Forvis Mazars Asia Pacific Services Sdn Bhd is seeking an Audit Associate/Senior Associate to deliver high-quality audit engagements from planning through completion. You will work with experienced team members and under supervision to gain hands-on exposure across the audit process and develop technical and professional skills.

The role offers opportunities to work directly with clients, broaden audit experience, assume greater responsibilities, and grow within a collaborative and supportive

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 1-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from an international accounting firm.
  • Commendable analytic and technical skills, proficiency in IFRS.
  • Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and/or review audit documentation for corporate governance and financial reporting.
  • Execute assigned engagement-related tasks in compliance with professional standards.
  • Propose resolutions to significant accounting and auditing issues.
  • Review information accompanying the assurance report in accordance with applicable framework.
  • Work with the senior management team in maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Work to strict deadlines and within agreed-upon budgets, maintaining a high standard of service delivery.

Job description

As an Audit Associate/Senior Associate, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality audit engagements from planning through to completion. Working alongside experienced team members and under the guidance of your superiors, you will gain hands-on exposure across different aspects of the audit process while developing your technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and/or review audit documentation for corporate governance and financial reporting.


Execute assigned engagement-related tasks in compliance with professional standards.


Propose resolutions to significant accounting and auditing issues.


Review information accompanying the assurance report in accordance with applicable framework.


Work with the senior management team in maintaining and developing client relationships.


Work to strict deadlines and within agreed-upon budgets, maintaining a high standard of service delivery.


Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.


Minimum 1-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from an international accounting firm.

Please note that we are hiring for multiple positions, and you may be assigned to support either Australia, Luxembourg or Singapore. Your working hours will depend on the country and team you are assigned to support.
