The role involves handling audit engagements from planning through completion, working closely with clients and team members to ensure high-quality work. You will own assignments, guide junior staff, and contribute to a supportive, development-focused environment. The candidate will perform procedures according to the audit plan, prepare working papers and financial statements, and communicate findings

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit and assurance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CaseWare, Python and UiPath is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior Audit Associate to join our team. You will be involved in audit engagements from planning to completion, working closely with clients and team members to deliver quality audit work. Key responsibilities

Perform audit procedures in accordance with the audit plan, applicable auditing standards, and the firm’s audit methodology.

Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements for a portfolio of clients.

Prepare audit working papers, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.

Assist in preparing draft financial statements in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards.

Identify audit issues, control weaknesses, and areas requiring further audit procedures.

Prepare audit findings and draft management letter points for manager review.

Coordinate with clients on audit schedules, supporting documents, and audit queries.

Monitor audit engagement progress against agreed timelines and deadlines.

Guide and coach junior team members during audit fieldwork.

Review selected work performed by junior team members and provide on-the-job guidance.

Maintain good client relationships through clear and professional communication.

Keep updated on relevant audit, accounting, regulatory, and reporting requirements.

Support the team in delivering quality audit work within deadlines.

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification in Accountancy
