Job summary

PERMODALAN NASIONAL BERHAD (PNB) is seeking an Associate Manager to lead cloud infra across AWS, Azure, and GCP, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost optimization. The role emphasizes governance, CSPM, and security across platforms.

You will collaborate with Risk, Assurance, Cyber Security, and Governance teams to align cloud initiatives with business objectives, drive modernization, and ensure best practices in operations and strategy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong budgeting and cost optimization (FinOps) experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and management.
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance and CSPM principles.

Job description

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Oversee cloud cost management (FinOps), budgeting, subscription renewals, and resource optimization.
• Implement and maintain cloud security, governance, compliance, and CSPM monitoring to mitigate risks.
• Drive cloud strategy, modernization, automation, and cloud adoption initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Design resilient cloud architectures and support migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, incident management, SLA management, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Risk Management, Internal Assurance, Cyber Security, and Governance teams on cloud-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in technology, with hands-on cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of server, network, and cloud infrastructure.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional cloud certifications (Microsoft, Oracle, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, CompTIA Cloud+) are an advantage.
• Project management and business relationship management experience is preferred.
