Job summary

Clarivate is seeking an Associate Content Editor - IP Law (Japanese and English-speaking) to join the Content Editing team. This role involves curating IP case law and improving data discoverability within our product databases.

Requirements include a law degree and fluency in Japanese and English (C1). You will contribute to timely, accurate records while staying up-to-date with IP law developments. This is a full-time, hybrid position in a global company that values growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient level of Japanese and English language (C1).
• Knowledge of IP Law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply curation and analysis of IP case law within assigned product database.
• Improve data discoverability through the extraction and analysis of IP case law data points within assigned product database.
• Deliver high-quality records by ensuring completeness, proper data structure, and timeliness of record updates.
• Play an active role in team and maintain awareness of current trends and new developments in area of expertise.
• Monitor and prioritize the daily volume based on the product requirements.

About The Team

This part of the Content Editing team is focused on Darts IP content in Japan for trademarks and designs. Darts IP is a comprehensive, searchable IP cases solution. We ingest and curate thousands of trademark cases and many of them concern conflicts between trademarks, where the similarity of goods and/or services is also being discussed.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
