We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role ofAssociate, LAF-Structured Lending Solutions

Principal Accountabilities

• Support with the origination and execution of debt financing transactions, across pitching, structuring, negotiation, credit approval and legal documentation alongside legal counsel
• Effectively identify and manage risks associated with more complex lending through comprehensive due diligence, including financial modelling, and appropriate transaction structuring
• Contribute to a comprehensive and efficient credit approval process at various stages, ensuring key risks have been identified and thoroughly considered
• Collaborate with other CIB & CMA areas to deliver holistic solutions to clients
• Engagement with clients and other key stakeholders to support transaction execution process
• Maintain visibility over key pipeline across business segments for in-country oversight and tracking with senior management
• Drive Return on Risk Weighted Assets (RoRWA) on all Structured Lending Solutions transactions in order to assist with meeting country and regional targets
• Ensure adherence to all applicable operational risk and reporting standards/policies, escalating any breaches in accordance with local procedures
• Work with Head of Structured Lending Solutions and Team Members to contribute holistic financial solutions to our clients, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse and supportive working environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Debt, Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, Corporate Banking equivalent is encouraged
• Demonstrable experience in growing revenue through providing tailored solutions and increasing new businessand/or devising business strategies
• Experience of building effective external networks and developing client relationships based on mutual trust
• A comprehensive understanding of commercial and financial risk environment
• A sound understanding and proven ability to interpret and work with financial data
• Extensive experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint (Financial modelling experience is vital)
• Experience of planning and prioritising their own time effectively, concentrating on key commercial issues, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently
• Ability to build trusted relationships within a team environment through consistent, high quality, on time delivery of assigned work
• Ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver at pace and build a trusted-advisor relationship with working partners
