Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Kulim seeks a skilled technician to support lithography equipment, perform PM, and drive continuous improvement. You will troubleshoot tools, read schematics, and ensure cleanroom safety while collaborating with the Litho team on speed, cost and quality targets.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/Electronics and at least 3 years in lithography, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Shift work is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical or related engineering field and relevant experience.
• At least 3 years working experience in Lithography processes (coat, exposure, develop).
• Experience with lithography equipment such as Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete PM documentation.
• Troubleshoot lithography equipment and read schematic diagrams; operate robot arms and sensors.
• Ensure 5S, cleanroom and safety compliance; support setup, installation and qualification.
• Plan and execute projects to improve equipment efficiency (speed/cost/quality).
• Train junior technicians and support process verification and evaluation.

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-
auth system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

• Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in the Litho department.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and complete PM documentation as required.
• Able to perform advance machine troubleshooting. Knowledge to litho tools (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner) is a must.
• Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol.
• Support the Tools setup, installation & qualification.
• Plan & execute projects to improve Overall Equipment Efficiencies (Speed/Cost/Quality).
• Train junior technicians to attain and improve skills & competencies for line sustaining activities.
• Support process team for evaluation & process verification.

• Candidate must have at least a Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronics, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experience in Lithography in coat, exposure, develop.
• Experienced with Lithography equipments (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner), able to read schematic diagrams, robot arms, sensors.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Good interpersonal skills, responsible and able to handle stress.
• Good with MS Office suites - MS Words, MS Excel, MS Power Point
• Able to work in rotating shift pattern.
