Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems within critical data centre facilities.
- Oversee other building sector projects delivered by the electrical team.
- Lead innovative solutions for SIT business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability of data centre operations.
- Manage projects from concept and detailed design to construction oversight and commissioning.
- Lead as Electrical Lead on medium/high risk major projects.
- Hold a leadership role with reporting responsibility in the buildings group and SIT business.
- Spearhead design of complex electrical systems tailored to data centre environments, ensuring optimal performance in cooling, ventilation, and fire suppression.
- Manage project and electrical team staff, quality, delivery, and resource planning.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Represent the team in key internal and client‑facing meetings, providing expert insights.
Qualifications
- Recognized tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 12‑15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within a consulting environment and a strong work‑winning track record.
- Proficiency in relevant software and design tools.
- Experience leading development and implementation of Electrical Engineering solutions across various projects.
- Strong technical expertise in Electrical Engineering principles and practices.
