Job summary

Experian PLC in Malaysia is seeking an Associate Developer to contribute to the development, testing and maintenance of software applications supporting business needs. You will work with an experienced team, participate in Agile delivery, and build experience in .NET, cloud, DevOps, and AI-assisted development.

You will develop and maintain programs per requirements, participate in process improvements, and estimate effort with development leads.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Knowledge of C# and .NET gained through studies, internships, projects, or work experience.
Strong foundation of RESTful APIs, OOP, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Familiarity with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, Microsoft Azure, and cloud-native development.
Exposure to Entity Framework Core, SOLID principles, design patterns, testing, Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps is beneficial.
Awareness of Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software programs accordance to the requirements and specifications within established and defined quality and performance standards within agreed timelines.
Participate in initiatives that improve processes that contribute to performance effectiveness and efficiencies.
Participate in consultation with development Leads in estimating effort for work assigned.
Other duties as assigned; report to the Lead Architect.
Familiar with modern software development tools, cloud technologies, and Generative AI concepts, including AI-assisted development tools and their integration into applications.
