Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru invites an Associate Dentist to join our modern, fully equipped clinic. You will discuss treatment plans with patients, perform preventative care, and deliver high-quality dental treatments while maintaining ethical practice and patient trust.

Candidates should have a Dentistry degree, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency with dental software and diagnostic tools. A collaborative, inclusive team environment and ongoing education support are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Dentistry from a recognized institution.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient communication and trust-building.
• At least 2 years as a dental practitioner.
• Competency in dental software and digital diagnostic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to balance clinical excellence with business acumen.
• Continuing education support, including sponsored courses and conference attendance.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better dental hygiene.
• Performing various dental procedures with cross selling and high conversion to achieve monthly sales revenue targets.
• Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
• Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
• Giving clients sedatives or anaesthesia prior to administering treatments.
• Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
• Using tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.
• Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them.
• Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients.
