Job summary

PMG Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. in Sibu, Sarawak is seeking a qualified Dentist for a full-time position. The role involves comprehensive dental care, patient education, and maintaining high standards of safety and record-keeping.

The successful candidate will hold a dentistry degree, Malaysian license, and registration with the Malaysian Dental Council, with proficiency in Malay, English, and Mandarin preferred. A supportive team and modern facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent qualification.
• Valid dental licence to practise in Malaysia.
• Current registration with the Malaysian Dental Council.
• Proven clinical experience in general dentistry.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary dental techniques and best practices.
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and explain treatment options clearly.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
• Proficiency in Malay, English and Mandarin; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in restorative, cosmetic or specialist dentistry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for patients.
• Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including preventive, restorative and cosmetic treatments.
• Place fillings, crowns, bridges and other restorative materials.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Sterilise and maintain dental equipment and instruments to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to all relevant dental regulations, infection control protocols and professional standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with patients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
