Job summary

AIA Shared Services is hiring to deliver operational reporting and automation across Hong Kong Insurance Operations. The Associate will build, maintain and automate recurring reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and Python to improve accuracy and efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, transform data from multiple sources and ensure timely, transparent reporting that supports business decisions and oversight.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues in reporting tools and automation processes to maintain accuracy.
• Document reporting processes and automation workflows for transparency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data collection and reporting alignment.
• Provide first-level support for reporting requests and assist senior team members.
• Participate in backlog grooming to prioritize enhancements.

About The Role

The Associate is primarily responsible for building, maintaining, and automating recurring reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and Python. The role contributes to the continuous improvement of reporting accuracy, efficiency, and usability to support business decision-making and operational oversight.

Reporting & Automation Delivery

• Prepare and maintain scheduled reports and dashboards for operational teams and management.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel macros, Power BI automations, and Python scripts.
• Collect, validate, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and support timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues in reporting tools and automation processes to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in documenting reporting processes and automation workflows for transparency and handover purposes.

Support and Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams within insurance operations to ensure accurate data collection and reporting alignment.
• Provide first-level support for reporting requests and coordinate with senior team members for advanced analytics needs.
• Contribute to team meetings and backlog grooming sessions to help prioritize tasks and reporting enhancements.
