Job summary

AIA Malaysia invites applications for a Claims Processor role based in IOI City Tower 1, Putrajaya. You will determine validity and authorise settlement of group health insurance claims, handling diverse claim types with accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a health sciences degree, can read and write English and Chinese, and are eager to grow in insurance claims. The intake is planned for January or March 2027, with a 6- or 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English (read/write) for HK & Macau.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to interpret medical & policy information.

Job Scope

• Efficiently process and assess all claim types: Handle a variety of claims with precision, ensuring each claim is processed according to company guidelines and meets high-quality standards.
• Claims Approval:Make informed decisions on claims within your designated authority limits, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Documentation:Maintain comprehensive and clear records of all claims assessments, ensuring transparency and ease of reference.
• Performance Benchmarks:Consistently meet quality, turnaround time (TAT), and productivity benchmarks, achieving or exceeding set standards.
• Technical Skill Development:Proactively seek opportunities to enhance technical expertise by expanding the range of claims handled and increasing authority limits.
• Training Record:Maintain an exemplary personal training record, aligning with the company's training framework for ongoing professional development.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline; candidates with relevant Life Claims experience will also be considered. Applicants with a strong foundation in Biology at the SPM level may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Able toread and write Chinese and Englishto review documents and support claims operations for the Hong Kong & Macau market.
