Baxter Healthcare Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites applications for the Associate Accountant – Global Intercompany (Contract). The role sits within Global Intercompany team and focuses on accuracy, compliance, and cross-border intercompany processes across multiple entities.

You will prepare journals, perform reconciliations, support eliminations, partner with country finance teams, and assist with regional and global reporting, month-end closes, while ensuring adherence to policies and local

Qualificações

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Proven track record in a multinational environment and/or audit.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply it in complex scenarios.
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills - diplomatic, flexible, and a “can-do” mindset.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in reporting tools including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review manual journals related to intercompany activity, ensuring accuracy and strong supporting documentation.
• Complete assigned intercompany account reconciliations in Blackline within established deadlines.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany balances across multiple entities and regions.
• Support eliminations during consolidation and provide clear explanations of variances.
• Partner with local country finance teams, responding to queries quickly and effectively.
• Provide audit support and ensure readiness for both internal and external reviews.
• Support regional and global reporting requirements, including monthly Balance Sheet and P&L flux analysis.
• Drive excellence in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, with a focus on intercompany transactions.
• Safeguard compliance by ensuring processes align with company policies, audit requirements, and local regulations.
• Contribute to local, regional, and global projects, bringing expertise and collaboration to cross-functional initiatives.
• Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline and elevate intercompany processes.

• As a Global Intercompany Associate Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role within our Global Business Solutions team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight across complex intercompany accounting processes. • Flexibility to work additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) and, on rare occasions, public holidays.
