Job summary

The Crystal Crown Hotel Petaling Jaya is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support the Hotel Manager by driving sales, managing client relationships, and achieving targets. You will help develop sales strategies to increase revenue while delivering excellent guest service.

Responsibilities include building strong client relations, identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals and contracts, coordinating with hotel departments, and reporting on sales activity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of sales experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Malaysian citizens only.
• Previous hotel industry experience preferred.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving sales targets and overall business goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and follow up on potential leads.
• Prepare sales reports, proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Support the Hotel Manager in planning and implementing sales strategies.

• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Attend sales meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and client visits when required.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to increase hotel revenue.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities.
