Prism+ Malaysia seeks an Assistant Retail Store Manager to lead operations at IOI City Mall Putrajaya. Drive sales, manage daily store activities, and mentor the retail team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain store standards.

The role requires 3+ years of managerial retail experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a data-driven approach to stock forecasting and performance. You will report to the Retail Store Manager and collaborate with mall management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Data-driven with stock forecasting analysis.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Experience in mall landlord relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, count, verify, and reconcile daily cash register sales.
• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner, provide quality customer service; recommend products.
• Perform opening and closing procedures according to store policies.
• Process and replenish merchandise and ensure stock availability.
• Co-Lead retail team to maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Create a positive work environment and motivate the team.
• Recruit and hire new store employees.
• Train and onboard new employees.
• Create and manage store schedules.
• Set, monitor and achieve/exceed retail sales targets.
• Provide timely sales reports and analysis, flag risks regarding shortfalls.
• Plan and implement incentives to boost sales with management.
