Job summary

MA MAISON TONKATSU is hiring for a guest-facing role in Kuala Lumpur. You will greet customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure high standards of service and cleanliness across outlets.

Experience in hospitality is preferred; fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, Mandarin is a plus. Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential, with potential transfers to different outlets as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working experience in the related field.
• Pleasant personality and well groomed.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Able to work on shift, weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to work in a non-halal restaurant.
• Willing to transfer to different outlets if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage staff to ensure excellent service and friendly manner.
• Greet customers and patrons personally as the window person of the restaurant.
• Handle guests' inquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Take orders and serve food and beverages, recommending signature dishes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction towards food and service.
• Ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations at all times.
• Manage day-to-day operations including labor, inventory and supplies.
• Monitor outlet sales and understand operation costs.
• Assist with updating image assets and digital resources.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirement

Responsibility

• To ensure compliance with food health and safety regulation and hygiene at all times.
• To manage on the day-to-day operations of the restaurants including managing labour, inventory and supplies.
• To manage sales performance of outlet and understand the general operation cost.
• Assist with updating and managing library of images resources and digital/film assets.
• Undertake ad-hoc work compatible with the post holder’s status/experience as required.
