Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction, site supervision or engineering projects.
• Experience as Assistant Resident Engineer or Site Engineer is an advantage.
• Knowledge of construction works, site supervision and quality control.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Strong skills in site inspection, problem-solving and project coordination.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and monitoring construction works and project activities on site.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contracts.
• Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship and materials meet standards.
• Monitor progress and ensure activities align with the project schedule.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Assist in resolving technical issues at site with Resident Engineer.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and engineers.
• Monitor inspections, testing, rectification and commissioning per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality requirements and regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection reports and site records.
• Assist in addressing defects or non-conformities.
• Participate in site meetings, project coordination and technical matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Resident Engineer or Management.
