Job description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Renovations Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or architecture, is proactive, enjoys being at site, and genuinely wants to make a positive impact on our community. You’ll be responsible for helping us ensure renovations are carried out as specified and you’ll have the opportunity to witness the transformation of houses from purchase to sale, gaining invaluable experiences in upcycling real estate and construction.

The successful candidate will join an energetic, multi-faceted team where everyone gets their hands dirty and is unashamedly authentic. You’ll be our eyes and ears on our renovation sites.

Visit sites to monitor progress and flag anything off-spec.

Keep clear records: photos and notes from site visits, schedule of defects, etc.

Escalate site problems and solve them with the project manager.

Permits to Keep Us Compliant.

Prepare and follow up on minor permit applications.

Assist in preparing detailed drawings ahead of the design process.

Compile the Schedule of Defects.

Verify and record rectification before handing over keys.

Assist the Renovations Project Manager as needed.

Attend customer‑facing events and showcase our upcycled homes.

Automate your repetitive tasks with guidance from team members.

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

You are likely someone who:

Has some grounding in architecture, construction, or the built environment — through study, internships, or time spent on site.

Is comfortable in a hard hat and equally comfortable behind a laptop writing up what you saw.

Can read a drawing well enough to spot when the site doesn't match it.

Is happy moving between sites across the Klang Valley.

You take ownership. When you spot a problem, you follow through until it's resolved or escalated.

You ask questions with genuine curiosity. You'd rather learn than stay confused.

You are reliable in small things. You show up and send the update.

You are honest about mistakes. Bad news on Monday beats discovery on the Friday before an Open House.

You enjoy figuring things out whether it's ambiguous drawings or limited guidelines from authorities — puzzles, not roadblocks.
