Job summary

Highstar Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Quality Engineer to monitor and control the production process and ensure product quality throughout manufacturing.

The role involves developing QC engineering flow charts, inspection standards, and in-process procedures, plus monitoring implementation by production control personnel; strong analytical skills and knowledge of SPC/GR&R are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the production process and take responsibility for the quality of products throughout the production process.
• Develop and maintain QC Engineering Flow Charts, inspection standards, and in-process inspection procedures, and monitor the implementation by production control personnel.
• Conduct statistical analysis and monitoring of process control data.
• Investigate and handle internal quality incidents and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and analyze SPC (Statistical Process Control) and GR&R (Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility) activities.
• Prepare and analyze daily and monthly quality reports.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with hazardous substance control requirements, including RoHS, throughout the production process.
• Provide relevant training and development programs for QC personnel.
• Manage and evaluate QC personnel to ensure effective implementation of quality control procedures.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree or above.

Major in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or other related fields is preferred.

Work Experience

Practical experience in manufacturing or production quality management is preferred.
