Job summary

Solid Point Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant QA Manager to join our Quality Assurance & Control team at our facility in Muar, Johor. This full-time role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and supports the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems across production processes.

You will lead the QC/QA team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other standards.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
2–3 years in quality assurance/control or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC or Six Sigma.
Proficient with quality assurance tools and MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead QC/QA team to achieve quality targets for internal, customers and business goals.
Ensure all in-house systems and procedures are updated to meet SOP and customer requirements.
8D Report preparation and follow-up.
Apply CAPA, risk analysis and continuous improvement activities.
Demonstrate familiarity with incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control activities.
Prepare quality reports and present to management and customers.
