Job summary

Pentas Flora is seeking an Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance (IKM Chemist) to lead the Laboratory Management System and coordinate accreditation activities across our network. You will chair the management review, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvement in laboratory operations.

You will manage staff development, ensure conformance to ISO 17025 and related standards, and provide technical support to customers and branch operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science (chemistry/physics) or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in a laboratory with supervisory experience preferred.
• Registered Chemist in IKM preferred.
• Ability to manage laboratory operations and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and improve the Laboratory Management System and LMS.
• Lead daily laboratory operations, handle technical issues, ensure QC.
• Oversee internal audits, staff training, and competency programs.
• Coordinate customer communications and support nationwide.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with operations, blending, and QC teams.
