Nosh Engineering seeks a seasoned Project Lead to drive large-scale plant maintenance and EPC-style projects in Malaysia. You will oversee execution, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers to meet safety, quality and schedule targets.
The role requires extensive experience in storage tank repair, plant utilities, and project management, with strong documentation and leadership abilities. Based in Puchong, extensive travel within central/southern regions is expected.

Lead the project team to execute project or contract obligations as stipulated in the contract agreement.
Manage and coordinate related resources, including internal and external suppliers and subcontractors, to ensure seamless delivery.
Demonstrate proven project execution experience related to storage tank repair and maintenance, facilities and utilities maintenance, plant outage and shutdown, plant expansion, erection and construction, equipment installation, piping and structure erection, and similar projects.
Oversee day-to-day project execution, including preventive and corrective maintenance of plant facilities and utilities.
Plan, prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets; monitor operational expenditure and identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
Conduct regular operational meetings and toolbox talks with the project team and service providers.
Prepare and submit monthly management, maintenance, operational and performance reports to Management.
Ensure full compliance with project, quality and safety requirements, including applicable policies.
Manage issues related to change orders, variation orders, scope omissions, scope performance, quality, safety and the environment.
Maintain project, delivery, instruction, performance, maintenance, handover and other associated records required during and after project delivery.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specifically Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or a relevant discipline.
Knowledge of facilities and utilities, plant maintenance and plant operations.
Well-versed in the function, control and operation of plant equipment, including static equipment such as pressure vessels, filters, heat exchangers and mixers; rotating equipment such as pumps, fans and blowers; and instrumentation.
Minimum eight years of working experience related to plant maintenance, equipment installation, piping and structural work, and quality inspection.
Able to prepare technical documents such as procedures, inspection test plans and reports.
Possession of a valid driving licence.
The successful candidate will be based in Puchong and required to travel extensively within the central and southern regions.
CIDB, OGSP/NTSP, AESP and/or AGTES certifications are an added advantage.
Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and relevant project management and planning software.
Shutdown and turnaround experience is an added advantage.
Proven ability to multitask, stay organised and work with discipline under pressure, both independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with service staff and customers at all levels.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
