Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in coordinating projects, supervising site installations, and overseeing testing and commissioning of generator sets and other services. You will monitor scheduling, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with authorities and consultants to ensure smooth handovers.

The role requires an engineering diploma/degree with at least 2 years of experience and familiarity with standby generators.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering with 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge in Standby Generators is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and resourceful with good initiatives and foster customer relationship.
• Knowledge of general computer, hardware and software applications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to lead in project coordination, supervision of site installation, testing and commissioning in Generator set & other Services.
• Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve on-time result and follow-up with suppliers / vendors.
• Supervision: Supervise subcontractors during the installation of electrical systems, including fuel system and generators.
• Address any issues that arise during installation, troubleshooting electrical systems as needed.
• Support the testing, commissioning, and handover of fuel systems & generator set to ensure proper operation.
• Preparation of design construction drawings including technical reports, installation documentation, and as-built drawings.
• Liaise with all parties involved in the project including Local Authorities, Consultants, Architects, Main contractor, Sub-contractors & Suppliers
• Attend site meetings and inspections.
