Job summary

Omega Health Products Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure quality, and meet production targets within a GMP/HACCP environment.

You will supervise operators and team leaders, operate machines, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate with QA and Stores to maintain workflow, safety, and accurate documentation. Strong Bahasa Malaysia and English skills are required, with opportunities for growth in a GMP-certified company.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing.
• Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or powder handling is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.
• Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and targets.
• Supervise operators and team leaders; ensure discipline and procedures.
• Operate machines and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor production processes, setup, and product quality.
• Prepare daily production reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with QA and Store departments for smooth flow.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Manage daily production operations to achieve production targets while ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Team Supervision: Supervise production operators and team leaders, ensuring smooth workflow, discipline, and compliance with company procedures.
• Machine Operation & Troubleshooting: Ensure machines operate efficiently and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
• Production Monitoring: Monitor production processes, machine setup, and product quality to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and update daily production reports, production records, and other related documentation.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Store departments to ensure smooth production flow and material availability.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain workplace discipline, enforce safety regulations, and ensure cleanliness within the production area.
• Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or Diploma qualification in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or powder handling industry will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP standards.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia with basic proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, discipline, and sense of responsibility.
• Hands-on experience in machine operation, basic troubleshooting, production processes, documentation, and quality control.
