Job summary

Synergy Staffing is seeking a production supervisor for our client in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The role involves overseeing GMP-compliant production operations and ensuring timely, quality output in a cosmetics/hair products environment.

You will work 5 days a week with alternating Saturdays, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and overtime as needed. Minimum qualifications include SPM or Diploma and 2+ years supervisory experience in GMP settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production supervisory role (GMP environment preferred).
• Practical knowledge of GMP documentation.
• Reasonably good mathematical skills for working with Chemist on chemical ratios.
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Mixing raw materials (chemicals ratio for cosmetic and hair products).
• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met with high-quality output.
• Monthly raw material stocktake.
• Support other departments as needed.

Responsibility

Production Operations:
Mixing raw materials (chemicals ratio for cosmetic and hair products)

Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures

Ensure production targets and deadlines are met with high-quality output

Monthly raw material stocktake

Support other departments as needed

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
Identify and resolve issues with production equipment to minimize downtime

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines and tools as needed

Quality Control:
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

Identify and report defective materials or products for corrective action

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance and incidents

Complete required production logs and quality assurance documentation
