Job summary

SG Laser Tech (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an operator-focused professional to operate and set up machines for daily production, while supporting New Product Introduction from initial build to mass production.

You will collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to ensure smooth operations, and coordinate with engineering to meet FA delivery schedules. Mentoring and process improvement are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to guide and mentor production staff.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and set up for daily production tasks.
• Support NPI from first article build to mass production.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams for continuous production.
• Coordinate with engineering to meet delivery FA schedule.
• Assist production on process improvement and quality enhancement.
• Review and update process work instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the production team.

About you

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and understand of CAD software will be advantage (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Understand of metal fabrication principles and related manufacturing processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
