Nestlé Global Procurement is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager for Commodities Cereals & Grains in Malaysia. You will support category strategy execution, leverage strategic sourcing tools, and drive value through responsible sourcing across global teams.

Key responsibilities include data-driven analysis, KPI tracking, contract management, and negotiations, while collaborating with stakeholders across Asia and Europe to maximize efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or International Trade.
• Experience in Procurement within a corporate environment.
• Proven expertise in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across a complex organization and beyond.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Procurement Manager – Commodities Cereals & Grains at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to support the implementation of the category strategy on a regional & global level as required and focusing on the efficient use of strategic sourcing tools and processes to maximize compliance and efficiency. How you’ll make an impact as an Assistant Procurement Manager – Commodities Cereals & Grains

• Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Responsible Sourcing Standard, Corporate Business. Principles, policies and standards.
• Support the category team with data analysis and KPIs.
• Ensure effective contract management for the category and for your own spend.
• Supporting contract negotiations with the preparation of the relevant data.
• Prepare and support negotiation events as approved by the category Procurement Managers.
• Negotiate optimal contracts within your own spend, lead supplier relationships and manage stakeholders across Asia and Europe.

What will make you successful

• Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, International Trade.
• Previous experience within Procurement.
• Proven expertise in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationships.
