Job summary

Central Coldstorage Kuching Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced merchandising professional to drive assortment, pricing, promotions and category performance across both retail and wholesale channels.

You will supervise multiple categories and outlets, leveraging strong analytical and leadership skills to optimize gross margin and stock productivity. The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor's in a related field and 4–6 years in merchandising or category management, with supervisory experience preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities: To manage the day-to-day merchandising and category-performance activities of the company, with primary focus on product assortment, pricing, promotion planning, category sales, gross margin, stock productivity, new-product performance and merchandising execution across retail and wholesale channels.

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline. Category-management or retail-merchandising certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 4-6 years working experience in merchandising, category management, retail buying, FMCG, supermarket or food-related business. Minimum 1-2 years in a supervisory role is preferred. Salary RM4.5K and above depending on the qualification and experience.
• Experience in retail and wholesale food business is an advantage.
• Experience managing multiple categories, branches or outlets is preferred.
• Strong analytical and commercial ability.
• Good leadership and coaching skills.
