Job summary

AEON Co. (M) Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a motivated merchandiser/buyer to support department sales performance through planogram design, stock monitoring and weekly replenishment.

The role collaborates with stores and suppliers, coordinates events, delivers regular reports to the merchandising team, and conducts market surveys to identify new products and categories. Candidates should have a diploma or degree and 1–2 years of buyer/merchandiser experience and be able to commute to AEON Taman

• Able to commute to Headquarters, AEON Taman Maluri Shopping Centre.

Responsibilities

• Sales result oriented—monitoring and supporting merchandiser on department sales performance (by month/quarterly/by store/by category).
• Design, set up, manage and review planogram of department.
• Weekly ordering for items—to ensure no OOS happened.
• Supplier management: coordinator between store & supplier.
• Event management, supplier stock delivery, and store display way & execution.
• Providing reports and data for merchandising team.
• Monthly review on supplier delivery rate and inventory.
• Sales review & improvements, purchasing and closing inventory.
• 3C analysis, competitor survey, new product & category survey.

Education

Diploma or Degree in any relevant background
