Johnny's Restaurant & Black Canyon Restaurant – Petaling is seeking an Assistant Manager Trainee for KL & Klang Valley to kickstart a leadership journey and grow into a full Assistant Manager role. You will learn every facet of restaurant operations and supervision in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

The program offers structured management training in both front-of-house and back-of-house, with a clear path to advancement based on performance and progress.

Qualifications

• Willing to relocate according to business needs.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years in F&B / retail / customer service.
• Enjoy working on the ground with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations (service flow, kitchen coordination, opening/closing).
• Lead by example on the floor — guide crew, solve issues, and keep service smooth.
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety and brand standards are followed at all times.
• Help with crew scheduling, briefings and on-the-job coaching.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints in a calm, professional way.
• Assist in stock ordering, inventory checks and basic cost control.
• Learn to read simple reports (sales, labour, wastage) and spot improvement areas.
• Take part in structured training modules and assessments to track your progress.
