KLN Logistics is seeking an Assistant Manager - Solution Engineer (Logistic) to design warehousing solutions that meet customer requirements and to support RFQs, site visits, and presentations. You will assess MHE, automation, EDI, and other innovations while preparing cost analyses and competitive proposals.
You will collaborate with sales, project management, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handovers and ongoing optimisation during implementation, across multiple countries.
Support the development of new customers through existing client relationships and by supporting the Sales team in RFQs, site visits, and customer presentations. Analyse customer requirements and participate in Q&A sessions to clarify operational and technical requirements. Design and propose warehousing solutions that meet customer needs and operational requirements. Evaluate resources, material handling equipment (MHE), investment requirements, EDI, automation, robotics, and other innovation opportunities. Conduct cost analysis and develop competitive rates using the approved costing model. Develop technical proposals for RFQs and present proposed solutions to customers.
Key responsibilities

Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure a smooth handover of solutions upon project award
Support solution adjustments and optimisation during the project implementation phase
Monitor and follow up on project costs and budgets to ensure alignment with the approved business case
Support the Business Development team in developing and maintaining up-to-date commercial packages
About you
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse solution design, logistics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and modelling skills
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate data into practical business solutions
Comfortable working in a customer-facing role and engaging with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Visio, and MS Project
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively across multiple countries, cultures, and diverse teams
