Job summary

The Payroll & People Operations role focuses on accurate monthly payroll processing, multi-country coordination, and driving a robust employee lifecycle within a dynamic, flexible environment.

You will validate inputs, support global payroll, and assist in talent management and engagement initiatives to help us maintain a trusted and compliant people operations function

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma or Degree in HR or Business Management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong numerical aptitude and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing and validation (monthly).
• Coordinate with payroll vendor to ensure timely and error-free payroll processing.
• Provide supporting role for the global payroll process.
• Manage full employee lifecycle and People Operations tasks.
• Maintain and update HR tools & systems.
• Support initiatives to boost employee engagement, development and retention.
• Contribute to performance review cycles and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations across Malaysia and Singapore.
• Assist ad hoc duties as required by the team.

Responsibilities

• Payroll (Checker)
• Validate monthly payroll inputs including new hires, exits, bonuses, reimbursements
• Coordinate with payroll vendor to ensure timely and error-free payroll processing
• Provide a supporting role for the global payroll process
• People Operations
• Work internally to manage full employee lifecycle effectively
• Maintain and update HR tools & systems
• Talent Management
• Support initiatives to boost employee engagement, development and retention
• Support performance review cycles, feedback initiatives, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations
• Undertake other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as required by the team, in support of broader HR and organizational priorities

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Business Management
• Minimum 8 years of experience in People Operations, with a strong focus on payroll.
• Strong understanding of Employment Law in Malaysia and Singapore
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
• Exposure to multi-country or global people operations would be advantageous
