KLN Malaysia is seeking a dedicated HSSE lead to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental policies across warehouse, transport, office, and operations.
You will plan inspections, audits, risk assessments, investigations, and training; monitor performance data; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a strong safety culture throughout Malaysia. Travel across sites nationwide is expected.

Lead and support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of KLN Malaysia's Health, Safety, Standards and Environment (HSSE) policies, procedures, programmes, and management systems across warehouse, transport, office, and operational facilities.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct workplace inspections, safety observations, compliance audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement
Oversee the development, review, communication, and implementation of Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, Emergency Response Plans, and other HSSE documentation
Lead and coordinate investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, near misses, security incidents, property damage, and environmental events, ensuring root cause analysis and effective corrective actions are implemented
Monitor and drive the timely closure of audit findings, incident actions, corrective and preventive actions, customer observations, and regulatory requirements
Develop, coordinate, and deliver HSSE training programmes, safety inductions, toolbox meetings, emergency drills, awareness campaigns, and competency development initiatives
Analyse HSSE performance data, incident trends, audit results, and key risk indicators, and recommend improvement initiatives to management
Partner with warehouse, transport, facilities, HR, and operational teams to integrate HSSE requirements into daily operations and foster a positive safety culture
Manage contractor and vendor HSSE compliance, including induction programmes, permit-to-work systems, Risk Assessments, insurance requirements, and site safety controls
Prepare and present HSSE reports, dashboards, management updates, and performance reviews covering incidents, audits, training, compliance status, and improvement activities
Lead HSSE improvement projects and initiatives to strengthen operational safety, security compliance, and overall HSSE performance
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSSE, warehouse, transport, logistics, manufacturing, or operational environments
Good knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and health requirements, risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and workplace safety practices
Experience in conducting inspections, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, safety training, and corrective action management
Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and reporting skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with good analytical and documentation capabilities
Self-motivated, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
Willingness to travel regularly across Malaysia, particularly between Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor Bahru, to support site audits, inspections, investigations, training, and other operational HSSE activities
