Job summary

7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Berhad, through its subsidiary 7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd, is seeking an Assistant Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis to drive close collaboration with departments, understand financial needs and provide actionable guidance on cost management and performance.

You will analyze trends in profitability, prepare monthly management reports and support strategic budgeting and quarterly forecasts, enabling data-driven decision making across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, finance and accounting software, e.g. SAP, Qlik Sense and any EPM.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• A self-driven, independent individual with ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to foster cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and objectives.
• Provide financial guidance and support to departmental heads to ensure effective cost management.
• Proactively provide business insights and analysis to profitability and operating efficiencies of business channel and business center.
• Evaluate current and past financial data to identify trends and analyse business performance.
• Analyse operating expenses forecast/budget vs actual and provide regular updates to management.
• Assist in preparation of monthly management report, highlighting key performance metrics.
• Assist in preparation of strategic plans, annual budget and quarterly forecasts including establishing assumptions, analysis and presentation preparation review and analysis.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management.
