Job summary

Sunsuria Berhad is seeking a treasury professional to support the Treasurer in executing treasury operations and financial strategy across group entities.

The role covers banking facilities, intercompany funding, cash flow forecasting, and corporate financing activities including Sukuk and refinancing. Strong Excel and financial systems skills, plus 4–6 years of relevant experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; professional qualification is an advantage.
• 4–6 years of relevant treasury experience in corporate finance or banking.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, banking facilities, and funding structures.
• Exposure to capital market activities (Sukuk, bonds, refinancing) preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, meet deadlines; team player.

Job description

• Support the Treasurer in overseeing overall treasury operations and financial strategy execution.
• Assists and manage banking facilities, loans, and credit line arrangements with financial institutions.
• Assist in treasury operations and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, control, and governance.
• Support intercompany funding arrangements in accordance with corporate policies, including documentation, reporting, and administrative coordination.
• Prepare and monitor short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity for operational and investment needs.
• Assist in group-level compliance reporting, including borrowing position, covenant compliance, and cash flow reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support corporate proposals and strategic decision-making.
• Assist in corporate finance activities, including Sukuk/bond issuances, refinancing exercises, and related documentation and coordination with advisors and stakeholders.
• Ensure treasury activities are conducted in compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA) is an advantage.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, banking facilities, and corporate funding structures.
• Exposure to capital market activities (Sukuk, bonds, refinancing) is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
