Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, located in IOI City, Putrajaya, is seeking a results-driven Due Diligence Specialist to join the Business Engineering team. You will manage responses to due diligences, collaborate with Relationship Managers and other units, and contribute to client satisfaction through accurate, timely documentation.

You will leverage BETSIE, draft high quality content, and mentor junior colleagues while driving standardisation of processes and notebooks.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years in Financial Industry.
  • Due diligence experience or experience in transversal function(s) (Product/ process/marketing)
  • Good knowledge on Financial Markets in general
  • Ability to draft clear, structured documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Engineering team on requests and due diligence responses.
  • Utilize BETSIE AI tool to generate responses and collaborate on bespoke/new content.
  • Provide high quality responses to due diligences questionnaires and ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead analysis and documentation of business processes to identify efficiency gains, risk reduction, and automation opportunities.
  • Promote standardisation and best practices in methodology, documentation, and tools within the team.
  • Mentor/junior support for guidance on methods, tools and ways of working.
  • Support RFPs/RFIs cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrate resilience and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.

Job description

Work alongside the Business Engineering team/ relationship management/coverage on requests.

Ensuring the completeness and quality of responses to client questions and responses to due diligences.

Effective utilization of our artificial intelligence tool “BETSIE” for the generation of responses and to work alongside contributors for bespoke/ new content.

Communication and networking with contributors from all business units in different CACEIS jurisdictions for better bespoke/ new content.

Working alongside the content manager to ensure the database is up-to-date

Drive ideas and improvements within the team

Cross functional support on RFIs/RFPs

Demonstrate strong leadership and a collaborative mindset, fostering a positive team spirit and encouraging knowledge sharing within the team.

To support the Business Engineering team on the incoming due diligences that are received from Relationship Managers/ Coverage/ Client.

Provide high quality responses to due diligences questionnaires and ensure timely delivery to contribute to client satisfaction.

Communicate efficiently with contributors from other business lines.

Show high ownership and accountability, proactively driving topics to completion and following through on commitments.

Manage pressure and changing priorities effectively, while maintaining accuracy, quality, composure and reliability in a demanding environment.

Lead the analysis and documentation of business processes, identifying efficiency gains, risk reduction opportunities, and automation/improvement possibilities.

Promote standardisation and best practices in methodology, documentation, and tools within the Business Engineering team and encourage knowledge sharing within Business Engineering.

Provide cross-functional support for RFP’s/ RFI’s.

Mentor/junior support: provide guidance to junior team members on methods, tools and ways of working, where applicable.

Demonstrate resilience and openness to feedback, learning from setbacks and continuously improving performance.

Project and Change Management

Suggest, initiate and participate in business line and business engineering improvement projects.

Review, update and enhancement of Notebooks/ Standard Due Diligences/ Procedure(s).

Standardize and document processes, workflows and procedures resulting from projects and change initiatives.

Support the Manager in managing day-to-day team activities and priorities, ensuring timely delivery of projects and initiatives.

Identify, track and mitigate risks and issues, escalating when needed and proposing remediation actions.

Must-have

University Degree or equivalent

3-5 years in Financial Industry.

Due diligence experience or experience in transversal function(s) (Product/ process/marketing)

Good knowledge on Financial Markets in general
