Job summary

HEINEKEN Malaysia is seeking a highly analytical Assistant Manager - Demand Planning to transform data into insights that drive demand planning and business decisions. You will work closely with Demand Planning, Commercial and Supply Planning to develop data-driven insights and enable accurate, execution-ready demand plans.

The role focuses on monitoring forecast performance using KPIs, preparing dashboards, and collaborating across functions to identify risks and optimize stock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (SCM, Business Admin, Industrial/Operations Eng, Data Analytics).
• 2–3 years in Demand Planning or related analytics roles, FMCG preferred.
• Strong data interpretation and business recommendation skills.
• Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting and S&OP processes.
• Advanced Excel & PowerPoint; familiarity with forecasting/BI tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyse demand, sales and inventory data to improve forecast quality.
• Translate sell-out demand into sell-in plans aligned with priorities.
• Monitor forecast performance using KPIs like accuracy and bias.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for Demand Review and S&OP.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Commercial and Finance teams.
• Monitor inventory and identify risks to optimize stock.
• Support data governance and reporting automation for planning systems.
• Drive continuous improvement through analytics and automation.
