Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Data Intelligence Platform Support specialist who will provide BAU support for data pipelines and monitoring under SLAs. You will work with PowerBI to produce insights and troubleshoot data issues across staging, orchestration and transformation layers.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, the ability to work with stakeholders, and readiness to standby and attend weekend shifts to meet reporting timelines.

About the Role

To providing BAU support for Data Intelligence Platform Support which covers maintain and monitor data pipeline under Groups against SLAs as agreed with various business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for data pipeline management which including developing, maintaining, testing and optimizing the data pipelines. Able to work with data reporting tools such as PowerBI. Analyze and troubleshooting issues related to staging, orchestration and transformation for data models under Actuarial Solutions & Data Intelligence Platform. Monitor the performance of data pipeline management (including staging. Orchestration and transformation) and optimize resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and high availability. Support, maintain and monitor data pipeline management against SLAs. Ensure data pipeline operates under appropriate parameters. Resolve operational problems related to data availability/refresh for users reporting timeline.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise as reported by users. May require standby and work during weekend to meet the critical business reporting timeline and/or data needs.
• Proactively identify the impact of potential process changes, integrate new initiatives with existing processes, and ensure that all processes are consistent and fit together.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managements, business users, expertise from other technical areas, and peers.
• Able to work independently and strong problem-solving skill.
