Job summary

7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior Inventory Manager to own and coordinate all inventory related transactions, cycle counts and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and strong stock availability across warehouses and transport operations. You will coach, train and monitor users, collaborate with Finance and IT on inventory initiatives, and manage consumable inventory and delivery equipment.

A Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years’ experience with at least 2 years in team

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of responsible experience in related field.
• 2 years of team management experience.
• Good understanding of inventory management and warehouse/transport operations.
• Exposure to Put To Light and SAP would be an added advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inventory related transactions, activities, reconciliation, cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Owner of relevant KPIs related to inventory and inventory activities.
• Coach, train and monitor users for stability and improvements in inventory operations.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT teams on inventory initiatives.
• Manage consumable inventory requirements and replenishment for warehouse and transport operations.
• Track, reconcile and report delivery equipment (e.g., food and milk trays).
• Oversee end-to-end warehouse or transport operations.
• Lead large multi-background teams.

Job description

Play the key role and owner of coordinating and managing overall and detailed inventory related transactions, activities, transactions, reconciliation, cycle counting and inventory accuracy.

Owner of the relevant KPIs related to inventory and inventory related activities

Coach, train and monitor users to ensure there is ongoing stability and improvements in overall inventory operations

Work with Finance teams and related IT teams on activities and initiatives related to inventory management

Manage the consumable inventory requirements and replenishment related to warehouse and transport operations

Manage, track, reconcile and report delivery equipment for e.g. food and milk trays.

Manage and coordinate end-to-end warehouse or transport operations

Involved in managing large groups and teams of people of diverse background, skills and knowledge

Qualifications

Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Minimum of 3-5 years of responsible experience in related field and 2 years of team management

Good understanding and knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations or transport operations.

Exposure to systems like Put To Light and SAP would be an added advantage

Above average skills in excel

Ability to communicate and collaborate well across teams.
