Job summary

AdrianYeo PLT in Malaysia is seeking an AI Developer to map workflows across audit, tax and admin, and to build AI agents, automations and internal tools for example trial balance extraction into aBOT.

You will integrate systems including Lark, Xero, Google Workspace and aBOT, keep client data secure, train staff and report hours saved each month.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years building software, automations or AI tools, with clear communication and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years building software, automations or AI tools
• Proven ability to work alone, from scoping through to support
• Daily use of AI tools and hands-on experience with LLM APIs
• Clear communication with non-technical colleagues; English required, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin a plus
• Accounting knowledge, or experience with Xero, aBOT or MyInvois

You will map workflows across audit, tax and admin, and agree with partners what to fix first. You will build AI agents, automations and internal tools — for example trial balance extraction into aBOT, an enquiry-to-quote flow across Lark, Xero, Gmail and WhatsApp, and financial statement consistency checks. You will integrate systems (Lark, Xero, Google Workspace, aBOT) and keep client data secure. You will train staff, drive adoption and report hours saved each month.

About you

2–5 years building software, automations or AI tools, ideally in accounting or professional services

Proven ability to work alone, from scoping through to support

Daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) and hands‑on experience with LLM APIs

Clear communication with non-technical colleagues; English required, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin a plus

Accounting knowledge, or experience with Xero, aBOT or MyInvois
