Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad, a Malaysian leader in IoT and AI-driven automated warehousing, is seeking a results-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee daily operations, plan preventive strategies, and drive TPM improvements in our intralogistics environments.

You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate internal and external resources, ensure safety and compliance, and monitor equipment performance to minimize downtime while aligning with client SLA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in managerial role within automated warehouse solutions.
• Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities to keep warehouse equipment, machineries, processing lines, and facilities running safely and reliably.
• Plan and assign maintenance work to technicians and ensure jobs are completed on time and according to SLA requirements.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team to improve performance and competency.
• Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to restore equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Plan and improve preventive and predictive maintenance activities to align with client’s operations.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify potential problems before breakdowns.
• Ensure reliable operations and maintenance of utilities systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, steam, HVAC, and etc.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring the work is completed safely, properly, and according to company and client requirements.
• Ensure any maintenance activities are properly updated in the e-Maintenance system.
• Monitor maintenance performance, equipment availability, downtime, and SLA achievement, and take action when targets are not met.
• Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, and continuous improvement activities to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and increase maintenance efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable legal and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferable in managerial role in the automated warehouse solutions industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
