Job summary

You will oversee intercompany transactions, coordinate with subsidiary finance teams, manage statutory reporting, liaise with auditors, and mentor the group finance team.

The role requires a finance degree, CPA/ACCA or equivalent, and at least 5 years of corporate finance experience.

Job description

1 Financial Reporting and Consolidation

Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards

Oversee the consolidation process, including the elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.

Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

2 Budgeting and Forecasting

Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts for the group.

Analyse budget variances and provide insights to senior management.

3 Compliance for Audit/Taxation

Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements and internal financial policies.

Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process for the consolidated financial statements.

Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the group’s assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Oversee group tax reporting and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns and handling tax audits.

Work with tax advisors to optimize the group’s tax position.

4 Intercompany Transactions

Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.

Ensure proper documentation and recording of intercompany charges and settlements.

5 Systems and Process Improvement

Enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Implement best practices in financial reporting and consolidation.

6 Team Leadership and Development

Lead and mentor the group finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Collaborate with finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure alignment and consistency in financial practices.

Supervise accounting and credit control team;

Review monthly account prepared by account executive and VAT submission

Review & revise accounting flow as at when needed

Prefix monthly and weekly rate

Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification.

Working Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience with corporate finance

Special Knowledge / Skill

Proficiency in financial software

Able to work well and adaptable to the team as team player

Able to build effective working relationships and drive team to meet expectations set
