About the role

Based in Johor Bahru and supporting operations across both markets, you’ll help keep the numbers accurate, timely, and decision-ready — from financial reporting and compliance to budgeting, cash flow, and month-end close. You’ll work closely with the Senior Finance Manager, senior management, auditors, and cross-functional teams, with clear room to grow into greater responsibility as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations
• Perform month-end and year-end closing and prepare monthly management accounts
• Process supplier invoices, customer billings, receipts, and payments accurately and on time
• Monitor customer collections and follow up on overdue accounts
• Maintain and reconcile inventory records, including inventory purchases, stock movements, and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis
• Prepare schedules for audit, tax, and statutory reporting
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and customers on accounting matters
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls
• Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience

Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore accounting practices

Experience in preparing financial statements for Singapore-incorporated companies is preferred

Knowledge of Singapore GST and statutory compliance is an added advantage

Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
