Job summary

Fiscal Therapy Management is seeking a senior EHS professional to lead and oversee all safety and environmental health activities in Malaysia, with a focus on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance. You will conduct audits, risk assessments and investigations, and drive corrective actions across data centre, manufacturing or industrial settings.

The role requires a DOSH SHO registration, a relevant degree, and 5–6 years of EHS experience, plus Mandarin communication for stakeholder discussions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering or related field.
• Valid DOSH (Green Book) registration as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO).
• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant EHS experience in complex operations.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian safety & health legislation and ISO 14001/45001.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin for work-related discussions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS support during emergencies, including after-hours and public holidays.
• Based in Banting, Selangor, and able to work with site operations, facilities and project teams.

Job description

Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures and safety improvement initiatives.

Lead workplace incident investigations, prepare reports and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Oversee emergency preparedness, safety training and awareness programmes.

Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other relevant EHS standards.

Monitor and manage EHS documentation, permits, safety records and regulatory requirements.

Work closely with site operations, facilities and project teams to ensure safe daily operations, construction activities and commissioning works.

Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement, communication and continuous improvement.

Provide EHS support during emergencies, including after-hours and public holiday coverage when required.

Job Requirements

Degree or relevant qualification in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering or a related field. (Preferred but not mandatory.)

Must possess a valid DOSH (Green Book) registration as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO).

Minimum 5–6 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably in Data Centre, manufacturing, industrial or other complex operational environments.

Good knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety & Health and Environmental legislation.

Familiar with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and EHS management systems.

Experience in safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and regulatory compliance.

Able to communicate in Mandarin for work-related discussions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Willing to provide 24/7 on-call support when required, including emergencies and public holidays.

Willing to be based in Banting, Selangor.
