Job summary

Sunway Retail in Subang Jaya invites applications for a Customer Care role to assist shoppers, answer enquiries and maintain Sunway's service standards across the mall.

You will coordinate with security, operations and tenants, support loyalty programmes and promotions, and prepare daily reports. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with Mandarin an advantage.

Qualifications

• SPM/STPM or Diploma in related field.
• Five years of relevant experience in customer service or mall operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage.
• Good computer literacy and MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend to shoppers’ enquiries, feedback and complaints promptly.
• Provide information on mall facilities, tenants, promotions and events.
• Maintain a presentable Customer Care Counter and assist during emergencies.
• Record feedback and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Support loyalty programmes and customer engagement activities.

• Attend to shoppers’ enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Provide accurate information on mall facilities, tenant locations, promotions, events and services.
• Provide Customer Care servicesin daily operations to ensure consistent service standards.
• Manage the Customer Care Counter and ensure the area is presentable and well maintained.
• Handle lost and found, wheelchair and baby stroller loans, public announcements and other customer care services.
• Record and follow up on customer feedback and complaints with the relevant departments or tenants.
• Assist shoppers during emergencies and coordinate with Security, Operations and other relevant departments.
• Support Sunway loyalty programmes, mall promotions, events and customer engagement activities.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate records of enquiries, complaints, incidents and services provided.
• Maintain a high standard of service in line with Sunway’s customer service standards.

Requirements

• SPM/STPM/Diploma in Customer Service, Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant working experience in customer service, shopping malls, retail, hospitality or a related service industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Mandarin or other languages and dialects is an advantage.
• Customer-focused, patient and able to handle complaints and difficult situations professionally.
• Well groomed, friendly, responsible and service-oriented.
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
