Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Cost Manager to support cost management on premium workplace projects within a regulated corporate environment. You will work with Cost Managers and Project Managers to deliver cost management services from planning through close-out.

The role emphasizes governance, quality, stakeholder management, and programme delivery, with exposure to high-profile commercial fit-out projects and a strong need for accurate cost reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial management.
• Experience on commercial fit-out, workplace, corporate office or interior fit-out projects is highly preferred.
• Experience in consultancy/PMCs, contractor, or client-side environments is advantageous.
• Exposure to highly regulated or corporate environments would be beneficial.
• Strong understanding of pre- and post-contract cost management principles.
• Familiarity with procurement, tendering, contract administration, and change management.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CostX or equivalent is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost planning, budgets, and forecasts for various project stages.
• Support tender documentation, pricing schedules, and procurement packages.
• Assist with contract administration, variations, and change control.
• Maintain cost records, logs, and monthly financial reporting.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, consultants, and clients.
• Support governance, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
