Aman Reka Architects Sdn. Bhd.

is seeking an Assistant Architect in Kuching to support the design team in proposals, concept development, and schematic drawings, and to produce detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or similar software. You will coordinate with M&E, C&S, ID, and landscape consultants to ensure design integration, assist with authority submissions under UBBL and SBO, and prepare presentation boards and 3D visuals for client meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Architect in design proposals, concept development, and schematic drawings.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with consultants (M&E, C&S, ID, landscape) for integrated designs.
• Support project documentation including authority submissions under UBBL and SBO.
• Prepare presentation boards and 3D visuals for client meetings.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and site reports.
• Ensure designs and constructions comply with local regulations and standards.
• Assist in tender documentation, specifications, and BOQ preparation with QS.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support during construction.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants under the supervision of the Project Architect.
• Maintain project filing systems, drawings, and correspondence.
• Perform other duties to support project delivery; own transport required.

Assist the Architect in the preparation of design proposals, concept development, and schematic drawings.

Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD or other design software.

Coordinate with consultants ( M&E, C&S, ID, landscape) to ensure integration of design and compliance with requirements.

Support project documentation including authority submissions (Local Council, BOMBA, Land and Survey, etc.) in line with Malaysian Uniform Building by-Laws (UBBL) and Sarawak Building Ordinance (SBO).

Assist in preparing presentation boards and 3D visuals for client meetings.

Participate in site visits, inspections, and preparation of site reports.

Ensure that design and construction works comply with local regulations, standards, and authority guidelines.

Assist in tender documentation, specifications, and bill of quantities preparation in coordination with QS.

Monitor project progress and provide technical support during construction stages.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants under the supervision of the assigned Project Architect.

Maintain project filing systems, drawings, and correspondence.

Perform other duties as assigned to support project delivery.

Have own transport
