Job summary

BETA ARCHITECTS (M) SDN BHD is seeking an Assistant Architect to join our on-site team in Georgetown, Penang. You will support design development, create drawings and 3D models, and coordinate with consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on involvement, collaboration with studio colleagues, and contributing to client presentations and project documentation. A strong foundation in architectural design and proficiency with BIM tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
• Familiarity with Software Development and Integration as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, and digital workflows.
• Basic knowledge of Project Management principles, including time management and collaboration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, D5 or similar software; strong visual communication.
• Recognized degree in Architecture; eligibility or intent for professional registration is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team on an on-site studio.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and 3D models from concept to construction documentation.
• Assist in design studies and maintain design intent across project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal team members.
• Support client presentations and project documentation.
• Assist with basic project coordination tasks on-site.
