Job summary

Bayer Malaysia is seeking an Asset Reliability Engineer to support the reliability, availability and lifecycle performance of manufacturing equipment. You will coordinate with operations and engineering teams to execute asset care plans and maintenance activities.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, with exposure to reliability methodologies and CMMS; knowledge of SAP PM and AutoCAD is a plus. You will contribute to plant performance improvements and safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
1–3 years of manufacturing experience focusing on maintenance, reliability or asset management.
Exposure to reliability methodologies, preventive maintenance planning and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Align and set up proactive maintenance planning, inspections and asset lifecycle activities; include repair/replacement recommendations.
Execute reliability and maintenance improvement activities with guidance from engineering team.
Assist equipment failure investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions follow-up.
Maintain asset information, maintenance records and drawings in CMMS or other system promptly.
Maintain asset care execution, information and documentation up to date.
Manage spare parts including stock reviews.
Participate in maintenance cost discussions and track cost information.
Coordinate work with maintenance technicians, vendors and contractors per site safety and quality rules.
Support continuous improvement and site initiatives.
