Power Semiconductor Automation – Join Us as anAssemblyTechnician(Automation)!
We are looking for a hands‑on Assembly Technician (Automation) to support the assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning of advanced automation equipment used in semiconductor and industrial manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform mechanical assembly of automation equipment and machine components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Carry out electrical wiring, cable routing, and component installation based on electrical schematics and specifications.
- Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation components.
- Assist in machine setup, alignment, testing, and equipment integration activities.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and rectification during assembly and testing stages.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.
- Support on‑site installation and machine deployment at customer sites when required.
- Identify and report assembly defects, technical issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate assembly records, checklists, and project documentation.
Qualifications
Working Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in machine assembly, automation equipment, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Experience in semiconductor automation, machine building, or industrial automation is an added advantage.
Education
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, sensors, motors, and pneumatic components.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning support when required.
